Through creating spaces for growth, collaboration, and honest discussion, we hope that Minorities in Peace and Security can be a platform and solidarity network that fosters thought leadership, forges coalitions for change, and inspires a new generation of advocates for the rights of the most marginalised. We now invite you to join us, help us build this network by becoming a member of our Executive Committee.

We’re recruiting for our Executive Board. We are seeking a team that covers a breadth of experience, whether you’re a professional in the peace & security sector, a grassroots activist, or community organiser, please apply! You are invited to apply for one of these positions:

  • Communications Lead: overseeing the organisation’s online presence and delivering impactful digital campaigns to connect with our audience and stakeholders.
  • Programme Lead: design and deliver an engaging programme of events that informs, inspires, and connects our community.
  • Treasurer: oversee the organisation’s finances, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial management.
  • Partnerships Lead: expand the MPS’s network and strengthen relationships with external organisations, activists, and key stakeholders in the foreign policymaking space and diasporic communities.
  • Mentorships Lead: develop and oversee MPS' mentorship programme, leveraging MPS’s network to identify opportunities for mentees and recruit mentors.

Positions are offered on a voluntary basis for a two year term, with option to review at one year, however all related expenses including food, drink, travel and accommodation will be covered. The minimum term for a member is 2 years with a point of reassessment.
